Shift收費下載包與電腦無緣?!

繼早前EA確認Need For Speed Shift的Ferrari下載包只是Xbox 360獨佔後,近日在NeedForSpeed的官方論壇中,其論壇負責人亦針對日後三月推出的Shift新的收費下載包作出回應

EA - How about giving some real answers for all these worried PC gamers?

This thread seems like something you guys just put up to prevent flooding elsewhere and then simply ignore it.. I haven't seen any truly useful replies yet.

For starters, will there be one more patch fixing some of the final issues with this game - and will the future PC content have Anything at all to do with these Ferraris, even if not the whole 10 car DLC?...

You obviously didn't see NFSDrew's comment a couple pages back. That would answer your question too. (He basically said that Ferraris will NEVER be available on Shift for PS3 or PC).

Now a question from me: Does this mean that there will never be Ferraris in a future NFS (on PS3 or PC) or is this just for Shift?

You somewhat misinterpreted what I said. I didn't say that they would NEVER be back on PS3 / PC; I said that the Ferrari Racing Series DLC is "only available on Xbox 360 as a result of existing Ferrari licensing agreements beyond the control of Need for Speed." I can't predict what's going to happen in the future but THE FERRARI RACING SERIES DLC is only available on Xbox 360.

Basically we had the opportunity to bring Ferrari back to Need for Speed, unfortunately that opportunity was only available for the Xbox 360. Rather than turning it down, we took the only opportunity we had to bring Ferrari back.

I know that it's not the best situation but it was only way we could get Ferrari into NFS. We're all big fans of Ferrari's too and many of us don't have an Xbox 360. NFS Mike only has a PS3 so he's pretty disappointed too.

There will be some more content coming in mid-March that will be available on Xbox 360 & PS3. As for PC; there is a WHOLE GAME coming that's going to be exclusive to the PC; NFS WORLD.

Drew, can we get a definitive yea/nay on future Shift content on PC? As someone else said, NFS WORLD is a completely different style, its not just the name-brand that PC users are interested in here.

To answer your question CrowTRobot; neither the Ferrari Racing Series nor the March content will be available on PC. As for future content...I can't say because I don't know.
