The Range Rover Velar is the fourth model variant in the Range Rover series, slotted between the full-size Range Rover Sport SVR and subcompact Evoque. It started production in 2017.

The name Velar had previously been used for a series of pre-production first-generation Range Rovers in 1969.

The Range Rover Velar has a total of nine optional engines, ranging from a 2.0L Turbocharged I4 to a 5.0L Supercharged V8.

The Velar has been featured in Forza Horizon 4 since Update 26. It cannot be purchased from the Autoshow, and only can be purchased via Auction House or as a Festival Playlist reward.

Furthermore, the Velar in the game is the first edition. Of all Velar models, the most exclusive of all will be the First Edition, which will be available worldwide but strictly for one model year only.

Even more exciting is, the Velar in FH4 is the right-hand drive model, which fit the driving environment and atmosphere of FH4, as it is located in United Kingdom.

Designed by Land Rover Chief Creative Officer, Mr. Gerry McGovern, the Range Rover Velar has won the World Car Design of the Year title at the 2018 World Car Awards.

The Velar ushers in a new design language for Land Rover that is influenced by the previous design language that began with the Evoque and most recently was used in the Range Rover Sport.

Velar's design is beautifully balanced, from its powerful proportions to its continuous waistline through to the taut tapered lines of the rear. The generous wheelbase contributes significantly to its elegance while helping to provide a spacious interior.

For exterior paint colors, a unique satin finish exclusive to the First Edition for the first model year only. Also, it features exclusive Matrix-Laser LED headlights and 22-inch Split-Spoke wheels with diamond-turned finish.

Forza offers a full 360 access model for the Velar, with doors and tailgate to boot, which was very enjoyable for me!

Look inside the Velar interior and you will see elegant simplicity, sophistication, and refinement. An unwavering belief in reductionism has been fully employed, with switches being kept to an absolute minimum to help create a calm sanctuary.

The interior of the Velar is influenced by that of the I-Pace of 2018 and features 3 touchscreens, which control most of the interior features of the Velar.

And even more luxurious than the HSE specification, the first edition features a wealth of extra features as standard, including full extended leather interior trim to complement the perforated Windsor leather seats in Nimbus or Ebony, 1,600W Meridian Signature Sound System.

Velar's luggage compartment volume is an impressive 632 liters.

Velar features a sophisticated all-wheel drive system, four-corner air suspension, ground clearance of up to 251mm, wading depth of up to 650mm (600mm with coil springs) and Land Rover's unmatched suite of traction technologies.

The Velar in game has the 3.0L Supercharged V6 from the P380. This 380PS supercharged V6 petrol engine combines exhilarating performance and enables Velar to reach 0-60mph in only 5.3 seconds.

It matched to smooth-shifting ZF eight-speed automatic transmissions and all-wheel drive with Intelligent Driveline Dynamics.

And interestingly, it can swap the 5.0L Supercharged V8 from the Range Rover Sport SVR, which effectively converts the in-game car from a First Edition to a SVAutobiography Dynamic.
