The Alpine A110 is a sports car produced by the French car manufacturer Alpine, from 1961 to 1977. The A110 1600 S is a model that using a 140PS 1.6-liter Renault 16 TS engines between 1972 and 1975. With a lightweight fiberglass body, a state-of-the-art central backbone chassis and rear engine configuration, the 1600 S won the first World Rally Championship title.

Alpine A110 是法國車廠 Alpine 在 1961-1977 年生產的跑車。而 A110 1600 S 則是在 1972-1975 年間，搭載 140 匹 1.6 升 Renault 16 TS 引擎的型號。憑著輕巧的玻璃纖維車體、當時極為先進的中央骨幹底盤及後置引擎配置，這台 1600 S 拿下了第一屆 WRC 世界拉力錦標賽的年度冠軍。

GT6 has both 1972 and 1973 A110 models year. I believe that the reason for Polyphony Digital to separate these two years is that Alpine still was not acquired by Renault in 1972, but Alpine has already belonged to Renault in 1973.
