NFS Bolide Team Closes Due to Legal Reasons



Last month’s temporary shutdown of BATRacer caused by a legal problem with Ferrari S.p.A was first troubling news for creators of free content for the racing community.

Now, there’s more as NFS Bolide has announced to be closing in January due to legal problems with a car manufacturer. Led by Butch, the team is best known for creating a variety of high-quality addon cars for GT Legends. Even though the team has never tried to make money in any way off their work, these legal problems emerged and have led Butch to the decision to close the team’s website in January.

Since NFS Bolide does not allow their files to be hosted outside of their website, this is the final chance to get their GTL cars, including the Porsche 904, the Aston Martin DB4 and the Triumph TR4.

All in all, this is a very frusterating situation for the whole community to see modders getting in trouble for doing nothing else but create free, non-commercial work that is actually great advertising value for any car manufacturer.
